Outervention understands it is crucial that lessons learned on the wilderness component of the program be integrated effectively into the life of the teen. We believe that changes occur through a step by step process designed to have successes build upon each other. By mastering program skills, both physical and relational, the teens learn that they can overcome challenges and that they can trust themselves and others. Small victories lead to larger accomplishments which lead to success in their everyday lives.
